FRESH START

YOU HAVE MADE IT HERE FOR SOME REASON OR ANOTHER..

THIS MAKES ME HAPPY!

 

WE ARE HERE TO ADDRESS POINTS OF WHERE AND HOW TO START YOUR NEW LIFE. WHILE WE ARE NOT HERE TO SAY THAT EVERY SINGLE DETAIL ABOUT YOU WILL CHANGE, PARTS OF YOU WILL BE MORE ILLUMINATED AND TRANSPARENT.

HERE, EVERY DAY IS A NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO RECREATE YOUR LIFE JUST THE WAY YOU WANT. FROM THE MOMENT YOU WAKE UP IS THE TIME FOR YOU TO DECIDE HOW YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE YOUR EXISTENCE BEGINNING FROM THE INSIDE OUT.

 

EVEN UNTIL THIS DAY, WE KNOW BREAKFAST IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL, YET WE STILL TEND TO FORGET, NEGLECT, AND REJECT OUR BODIES FROM ITS MUCH NEEDED NUTRITIONAL SOURCES FOR PROPER BRAIN FUNCTIONING AND PROCESSES.

WE NEED THIS TO OCCUR IN OUR DAILY ROUTINE TO MAINTAIN A CLEAR MIND THROUGHOUT OUR DAY.

IT IS LITERALLY FUEL FOR THE BODY!

SO IF WE START OUR DAY WITH A MEAL OR SNACK THAT IS VERY HEAVY, OILY OR NOTHING AT ALL - MIGHT NOT BE AT THE BEST LEVEL OF COMFORT.

TRY SOMETHING LIGHT YET FULL FEELING!

NOW, THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE SKIP LUNCH SINCE WE FINALLY HAD BREAKFAST EITHER.

SINCE HAVING BREAKFAST, OUR DAYS RUN WELL AND ARE ABLE TO MAINTAIN OUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN FOCUS THAT WE CAN MAKE TIME FOR LUNCH (YES, YOU DESERVE THAT).

AND IT SHOULD BE SIMPLE.

FOR SOME OF US WE ARE AT WORK MOST OF THE WEEK, SO WE STILL WANT TO BE AS COMFORTABLE AS WE CAN BE IN OUR WORK SPACE.

SO LET US BE IN CONTROL.

YOU MAY THINK I AM GOING TO SAY HAVE A SALAD. BUT IT IS MORE TO IT THAN JUST LEAFY GREENS AND VEGAN TOPPINGS - IT TRULY IS THE DRESSING THAT BRINGS IT ALL TOGETHER!

WHILE I DO ENCOURAGE YOU TO EAT YOUR DAILY SERVINGS OF VEGETABLES, IF YOU ARE A MEAT EATER, TRY A BAKED VERSION OF YOUR FAVORITE MEATS, PAN-FRIED OR GRILLED INSTEAD OF DEEP FRIED. OUTSOURCE WITH ALTERNATIVE OILS LIKE AVOCADO, COCONUT OR EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL.

HEY, IT IS A START, RIGHT?

WE ARE ALL HERE FOR THAT, REMEMBER :)

AND DINNER, SHOULD BE EVEN EASIER! WHEN WE GET HOME FROM WORK, THE LAST THING WE WANT TO DO IS COOK A MEAL.

PERSONALLY, I KNOW THE FEELING, TOO - AND IT IS NEVER A GOOD ONE.

HERE COMES THE PREPPING.

AND IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT! CHOPPING, SLICING, DICING, STORING AWAY FOR LATER USE AND READY WHEN YOU NEED IT.

LIFE MADE SIMPLE RIGHT HERE.

BE SURE TO HAVE SMART SNACKING IN BETWEEN MEALS TO KEEP YOUR ENERGY LEVELS WELL MANIPULATED AND BALANCED.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, LOTS OF CLEAR FLUIDS TO KEEP HYDRATED.

YOU CAN DO ALL OF THIS BY PLANNING AHEAD WHAT GOALS YOU LOOK FORWARD TO ACCOMPLISHING, MIGHT IT BE SHORT-TERM OR LONG-TERM GOALS. ONLY YOU WILL DECIDE WHICH PATH YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE.

WHILE WE MAKE GOALS, THEY SOMETIMES GO UNACCOMPLISHED.

EVEN IF THIS IS THE CASE, WE HOPE TO HAVE TRANSITION, MAY IT BE A SIMILAR OR BETTER OUTCOME THAN ORIGINALLY ANTICIPATED.

WE MUST COME TO ACCEPT THAT WE WILL MAKE MISTAKES, WE WILL START OVER, AND CONTINUE TO MAKE NEW MISTAKES.

THIS IS OUR STORY.

 

THE MISSION IS THAT WE CAN START OVER AT ANY TIME. ANY DAY. EVERY DAY. CONTINUING TO PUSH FORWARD IN THE WAYS THAT MOTIVATE US THE MOST. NOT CONFORMING TO BELIEFS BECAUSE WE BELIEVE THEM, BUT BECAUSE WE UNDERSTAND THROUGH OUR EXPERIENCE AND HAVE MADE A CONNECTION to what IS TRUE TO OURSELVES. 

 

WE MUST ACCEPT THAT NOT IN THE BEGINNING, MIDDLE, NOR END WILL WE BE PERFECT.
WE MUST STRIVE FOR PERFECTION WHILE KEEPING OUR SANITY.
WE MUST BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR ENTIRE BEING AND TREAT OUR BODIES WITH THE CARE THAT IT REQUIRES.
WE MUST PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT OUR BODY IS TELLING US AND RESPOND BY PROVIDING THE NOURISHMENT.
WE MUST HELP BEFORE WE HURT.

WE MUST LISTEN TO OUR BODIES WHEN IT IS TELLING US SOMETHING FAMILIAR, UNUSUAL, MIGHT IT BE FREQUENT, SPORADIC, SLIGHT, INTENSE, POSITIVE, NEGATIVE.

WE MUST COME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT PARTICULAR FOODS DO NOT SIT WITH US WELL OR HAVE US FEELING FATIGUED.

RECOGNIZING AND ASSOCIATING THE FEELINGS THAT WE FEEL AFTER EATING FOODS IN WHICH WE ARE BEING FILLED.

 

SO ASK YOURSELF..

"WHO AM I?"

"HOW AM I FEELING?"

"WHAT DO I NEED?"

"WHERE AM I GOING?"

"WHY NOW?"
