WHO WANTS BREAKFAST?!

ANY VOLUNTEERS TO make THIS EARLY MEAL?

RIGHT.

THE LAST THING WE WANT TO DO IS wake up COOK A MEAL, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS BEFORE HAVING TO GO TO WORK.

SOME OF US may end up HAVing BREAKFAST FOR LUNCH - AT ANY POINT, BREAKFAST IS STILL THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY! (you’ve got to eat at some point)

HOWEVER, IN ORDER FOR US TO FUNCTION PROPERLY, THIS PART OF THE DAY IS ESSENTIAL.

GRANOLA BARS
TRAIL MIXES
MIXED NUTS
WHOLE FRUIT
cut FRUIT
DRIED FRUIT
CEREAL or gRANOLA
plant based MILK
NUT BUTTER

 

THESE ARE SNACKS WE MAY WANT TO HAVE READY TO TAKE TO WORK OR EVEN HAVE ON OUR WAY TO WORK.

ONCE WE GET IN A RHYTHM, WE CAN PREPARE ON-THE-GO SNACKS LIKE MAKING OUR OWN GRANOLA AND TRAIL MIXES, PROTEIN BALLS/BARS, chia pudding, OVERNIGHT OATS, SMOOTHIES, ETC.

 

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART IS THAT WE MAKE SURE THAT WE HAVE A WELL BALANCED BREAKFAST. BEFORE ALL OF THAT, FIRST THING WE SHOULD Do is hydrate by INDULGING IN WATER.

as you go about your day, WE may want TO satisfy what feels like an appetite, but really may be more of a call for replenishing fluids.

OUR FOOD COULD STILL BE SETTLING OR we MAY SIMPLY BE DEHYDRATED. try drinking water before grabbing another snack.

it was suggested TO me to MAKE A HABIT OF DRINKING AND EATING in AN INDEPENDENT OCCURRENCE, where tHERE IS AT LEAST A 30-MINUTE WINDOW BETWEEN THESE HAPPENINGS.

I HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE MORE COMFORTABLE WITH MY DIGESTING PROCESS. NO ACHY FEELING, CRAMPS, SHARP PAINS IN MY BACK OR LOWER ABDOMEN.

i come from a place of dysfunctional digestion. mostly because I either was not eating, or eating for convenience or eating foods that do not agree with my body. yep. I did that, to me.

i didn’t always, but IF YOU COULD IMAGINE THE CONTINUED DISCOMFORT I WOULD FEEL..

LIKE WHAT IS GOING ON INSIDE OF ME?

WHY MUST MY ORGANS TREAT ME THIS WAY??

BUT IN ALL REALITY, I WAS NOT TREATING MY INSIDES WITH RESPECT. NOT ONLY WAS I NOT MAKING THE TIME TO EAT, I WAS NOT EATING FOODS THAT WERE HIGH IN the NUTRIENTS i needed.

SO AS I CONTINUED EATING NOT SO GOOD FOODS, THEY TRIGGERED WHAT WAS ALREADY PRE-EXISTING MAKING MATTERS WORSE. IMAGINE An 111 POUND young WOMAN WITH A SWOLLEN LIVER FULL OF CHOLESTEROL AND A GALLBLADDER WORKING AT 15 PERCENT..

NOT SOMETHING YOU WOULD EXPECT, RIGHT?

 

DO NOT LET YOURSELF GET TO THE POINT WHERE.. YOU CANNOT TAKE CARE OF YOU.

 

JOBS WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE! (i think) ((written pre-COVID19))

iF WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING AND WHAT YOU NEED FOR A LIVING DOES NOT MESH WELL TOGETHER, IT MIGHT BE TIME TO MAKE SOME ARRANGEMENTS.

IT IS TIME TO GET OUT THERE AND TAKE CARE OF WHAT WE NEED TO FUNCTION AS A HUMAN BEING.

WITH ALL THE ADDITIVES, ANTIBIOTICS, STEROIDS, PESTICIDES AND OTHER CHEMICALS IN THE FOODS WE CONSUME, IT IS ONLY BREAKING DOWN OUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM, NERVOUS SYSTEM AND ABILITIES TO FUNCTION PROPERLY.

SLOWLY BUT SURELY WE ARE BEING ELIMINATED ONE BY ONE EACH TIME WE EAT A NUMBER THREE FROM MICKEY D'S OR INDULGE IN processed foods.

OUR BODIES WERE NOT MEANT TO INTAKE meats, let alone COOKED FOODS. THE LONGER FOOD iS COOKED AND PROCESSED, THE HARSHER ON OUR BODIES.

LET US BE CLEANSED. NOURISHED. REPLENISHED.

 

WE ARE, IN FACT, WHAT WE EAT.
WHAT WE PUT IN, IS WHAT BECOMES A PART OF US.

 

SO LET US START BY OUR MORNINGS BEING A QUICK FIX OF NOURISHMENT TO HELP US WITH A BOOST TO THE START OF OUR DAY.
